Abdul Kalam not only a successful man. He is a huge source of inspiration for youth. When I read his autobiography, I’m amazed about his accomplishments. He’s not born with silver spoon. He’s not riding a Lamborghini during his teenage. He’s just an ordinary man. But, Later it is changed. Through his hard work and determination he achieved lot of things.

He shared a knowledge and wisdom to the students. I’m going to share those things. He bends your thinking and drive into right direction.

Reading:

I love to read books. I believe the good books are great friends for me. Abdul Kalam said, “Good books are eternal”. It’s a long lasting element. It gives you knowledge and wisdom which increase your smartness rate.

His View of Home Library,

“A home library is the greatest wealth. Reading for one hour each day can transform our children into great teachers, leaders, intellectuals, engineers, scientists and most importantly into thinking adults”

He also said that reading solves his problems,

“Whenever there is a problem, I turn the pages of the book and it soothes me and even points me to a path where a solution may lie”

Education:

Today, Education translates into marks and memorization. I don’t like this. For me, each student should strive to understand the ideas and gain marks through that.

What’s education?. Abdul Kalam answers, “It is a learning process designed so that it leads to creativity. The result of the education is to foster creativity”. So it leads to innovation rather than vomiting the information.

I love some of my teachers. Especially, My Maths teacher teach concepts through diagrams and metaphors. Everyone understood even the complex concepts. He’s unique in the way of teaching.

That’s what Abdul Kalam said,

“The teacher becomes a great teacher only when he or she is able to lift the average student to excellent performance by way of special teaching technique”

Success:

“First, you should have an aim and then work hard for it. Second, while working you will definitely encounter some problems. In those circumstances, do not allow problems to become your master, instead you should become master of the problems, defeat them and succeed”

Everyone wants personal freedom. But, How to strengthen your personal freedom

“First by building your own education and skills, Knowledge is a tangible asset. The second way is to develop a passion for personal responsibility”

And, “The right people are self-driven, self-motivated and have no need  of constant monitoring”

Great Purpose:

“When you’re inspired by some great purpose, some extraordinary project, all your thoughts break their bounds: Your mind transcends limitations, your consciousness expands in every direction and you find yourself in a new great and wonderful world. Dormant forces, faculties and talents become alive and you discover yourself to be a greater person by far than you ever dreamed yourself to be”
